All VMs have been booted. System performance on one SAN is slow due to the rapid restart of many VMs. We expect this to clear up by this morning.

The routing issue was in fact our layer 3 switches. Their malfunction caused a severe crash in VMs on one of our SANs. We were aware of a problem a couple weeks ago, and Juniper recommended upgrading the Junos. The maintenance window was scheduled, in part, to install this Junos.
During the outage, Junos has been upgraded. Affected VMs are booting.
